Radius of circular path = moon distance + earth radius = 384000+6371 = 390371 km

Circumference of circular path =2 pi r = 2×3.14×390371= 2451529.88 km

Approximately 2451530 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Solution :

Moon Revolves round the earth .

The distance travelled is simply the circumference of circle .

we know that ,

Circumference Of Circle = 2*π*r (where r is radius of Circle)

Here Distance Between earth and moon = Radius of Circle = 385000kms

therefore distance traveled by moon in a month = 2*π*r

=2*22/7*385000 kms

=2*22*55000kms

=44*55000 kms

=2.4×10^6 km
