moon take around the earth every month
it means every month moon complete one revolution around the earth
hence,
distance covered by moon in every month =2.pi. {distance between moon and earth }
=2 x 22/7 x 385 x10^3 km
=2 x 22 x 55 x 10^3 km
=44 x 55 x 10^3 km
=2420 x 10^3 km
=2.42 x 10^6 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Solution :

Moon Revolves round the earth .

The distance travelled is simply the circumference of circle .

we know that ,

Circumference Of Circle = 2*π*r (where r is radius of Circle)

Here Distance Between earth and moon = Radius of Circle = 385000kms

therefore distance traveled by moon in a month = 2*π*r

=2*22/7*385000 kms

=2*22*55000kms

=44*55000 kms

=2.4×10^6 km
