The mother thinks so because she thinks she is the pillar of the house. she believes if God takes her away no one will hold the family together, something she does so well. she is the foundation of the house. the light, warmth, love that fill a house. she thinks if she is taken away, her children will be robbed of all this. she also recounts things she does for her children, like make their beds, spins the curtains, gets the table ready for dinner, she is actually compared to mother bird who builds a nest for her birds. so, if she is taken away before her children grow up, they might suffer.
