Most of us know the story;

The King wished to wear the finest cloth on earth.

Great weavers came.

Prepared nice muslin cloth for him;

But he was not satisfied and asked for more fine cloth. And then more fine cloth…. finer ….

But, never satisfied.   

Finally the head weaver arrived

And made the finest cloth for the king which is invisible (guess what it is )

Everyone viewed the king naked

But still they were clapping, shouting - excellent, what a fantastic dress!

Some praised because of their habit of flattery,

Some praised because of fear,

Others who had mortgaged their common sense to some others,

Praised in belief that after all it is the dress of the king,

So, although it is not visible but still it is there !

 

Yes, you know this story,

But, in that crowd of men of king,

There were not only all Opportunist, Flatterers, Cowards and Stupid fools.

There was a Child also,

Truthful, Straight-forward and Fearless;

He shouted – The King is naked.

 

Today, that King of the story is on open road.

Again peoples are clapping every moment ,

Again crowd of flatterers is gathering there.

But in that crowd

I am not finding that Child.

Where is he?

Has someone hided him in some cave of far away mountain?

Or

Is he sleeping somewhere at some unknown riverside or under some tree,

Being tired and exhausted playing with stone, grass and soil ?

Go, find out that child.

Let him stand in front of this naked King

Let his voice shout suppressing this sound of clapping,

Let him once again ask:

O KING, WHERE IS YOUR CLOTH?
