No, the rivers Narmada and Tapi do not form deltas. ... They quickly empty into the Arabian sea, not giving any time to slow down and bifurcate into tributaries.Though Narmada originates far from Western Ghats and empties into the Arabian Sea, mountain ranges on both sides of the rivers extend up to 80 Kms near the sea. ... Moreover the slope of the river is high when it descends and into the sea from the montane route thereby not allowing any deltaformation.Though Narmada originates far from Western Ghats and empties into the Arabian Sea, mountain ranges on both sides of the rivers extend up to 80 Kms near the sea. ... hello friend,
you are absolutely right.
both the narmada and tapi river flow towards the arabian sea as the are west flowing rivers. so they do not form any delta and the enters the sea through estuaries unlike the east flowing rivers which enters the sea through delta and flows towards Bay of Bengal.
THANK YOU.
PLZ MARK IT AS BRAINELIST.
