task to educate 80 million adults in the age- groups
of 15 - 25 years. To fulfill this noble but Herculean
task it needs the active and voluntary involvement
of the students to take literacy classes sparing
two hours every week. The voluntary service
rendesed by the students would prove to be an
effective measure to educate people who are
illiterale
By educating them, we can eradicate exploitation
and humiliation Educa Hon helps to promote self
respect of an individual. It also increases participatie
in the democratic progress. Our country cannot
afford to step in the twenty - first century with
half the population illiterate. So some thing has to
