Plants they are the primary producers and there will be primary consumers who wholly depend on them for the food. So it is the distribution of primary producers that determines the primary consumers and the other organisms depending on them. We will be finding more number of grazing animals near grass lands. It's because the plant grass influences the organisms depending on them. We don't find deer and cows in desert. Because there are no grass lands over there for them to graze through.
