They could not hunt because there was foresters who guarded around the forest and doesn't allow villagers to enter the forest.....
This made the villagers helpless as they majorly depended on the forest products for their food shelter and needs...
Thus, the forest law changed the lives of the forest dwellers ....

the new forest laws changes life of forest dwellers are as follows
they were not allowed to enter the Reserve Forest
if they were caught heavy fines were imposed
they were forced to do free labour
Deccan hunt because there was forest who God God around the forest and doesn't allow the villages to enter the forest This made the villagers help us as the majority depend on the forest products for their food shelter needs
