The next term of the sequence = \frac{31}{30}

Given:

Given sequence 3/2,5/4,9/8,17/16...

To find:

The next term of the sequence

Explanation:

The next term will be following the same sequence that previously followed.

So the previous sequence is

\frac{3}{2} , \frac{3+2}{2\times 2} , \frac{4+5}{4\times 2} like that

Which means we can add numerator and denominator and put into the numerator for next number and multiply denominator by 2 and put it in denominator.

So by following these sequence

next term will be,

\frac{16+17}{16\times 2} = \frac{31}{30}

The next term of the sequence = \frac{31}{30}
