The normal temperature of a man on Fahrenheit scale is 98.6°F. What is this temperature on

i) Celsius scale and

ii) Kelvin scale ​

Given F=98.6° F

i) C=0.556(F-32)

=0.556(98.6-32)

=0.556×66.6

=37°C

Thus, 98.6°F=37°C

ii) K = C+273.15=37+273.15=310.15K

 \frac{f - 32}{180}  =  \frac{k - 273.15}{100}  \\  = k - 273.15 =  \frac{100}{180} (f - 32)

or K = 0.556(98.6-32)+273.15

=0.556×66.6+273.15=37+273.15=310.15K

Thus,98.6°F = 310.1K
