The nth term of an AP is 7 + 4n, find the common difference.​

Answer:

nth term of an ap =7n -4n

e.g Tn=7 -4n

put n =1 then T1 =7 -4=3

put n = 2 then T2 =7 -4x2 =7-8 =-1

common difference =T2 -T1 = -1-3 = -4

hence common difference = -4
