Let the two parts be x and 50-x where
x>50-x.
As given in the question,
x:50-x::3:2
2x= 3(50-x)
2x = 150-3x
2x+3x=150
5x= 150
x=150/5=30.
Hence largest part=x=30.
Smallest part= 50-x= 50-30=20.
