Hey mate!!

_______________________

Let the digits be x and y.

x + y = 8 ----------(1)

Original number = 10x + y --------(2)

Reversed number = 10y + x

If 18 is added, so..

10x + y + 18 = 10y + x

=> 10x - x + y - 10y = -18

=> 9x - 9y = -18

=> 9(x - y) = -18.

=> x - y = -2 ---------(3)

So, from (3)

=> x = -2 + y

=> y = x + 2

Putting the value of x in (1)

x + y = 8

=> -2 + y + y = 8

=> 2y = 8+2

=> y = 10/2

=> y = 5

Now,.

x + y = 8

=> x + 5 = 8

=> x = 8 - 5

=> x = 3

Therefore,

Original number = 10x + y.

=> 10 × 3 + 5

=> 30 + 5

=> 35

Thanks for the question!
