The number of boys in a school is 234more than the no of girls. If the total strength is 5727.Find the number of girls in school.

Let, the number of girls be x
The number of boys = 234 + x
Total strength is 5727...
So,
No. of boys + No. of girls = 5727
234 + x + x = 5727
2x = 5727 - 234
2x = 5493
X = 5493 / 2
X = 2746.5
Sis it is the only method but answer in point is not possible...... So I think the question is wrong....
