if we do cube root then 3 digits will be considered as one digit so if it is 6 digital number then we consider only 3 digits .

for example:

cube root of 1000000=

 \sqrt[3]{1000000}

=

 \sqrt[3]{(10 \times 10 \times 10 \times 10 \times 10 \times 10)}

now grouping 3 terms

 \sqrt[3]{(10 \times 10 \times 10) \times (10 \times 10 \times 10)}

 = 10 \times 10

 = 100
