Answer:

No. of Female as present is 4500

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that there are 12000 employees in a company

If number of Males are increased 6% and number of Females are increased 10%,then total strength of the company becomes 12900

We have to find the number of Males at present

So,Let the number of Males be x

Then number of females= Total number of employees - x

Number of females =(12000-x)

If we increase 6%of males and 10% of females then total number of employees will increase to 12900.

According to the Question,

x+\frac{6x}{100}+12000-x+\frac{(12000-x)\times 10}{100}

Final\ eqaution\ becomes\ \frac{6x}{100}+12000+1200-\frac{10x}{100}=12900

\frac{-4x}{100}+13200=12900

-4x=-30000

x=7500

Therefore number of females=12000-7500=4500.
