No of fruit in a and b

{\sf{\pink{\underline{\Large{Explanation}}}}}

Let the fruit in basket a be X and In b be y

according to the question

=>X/y=7/9

=>8x=7y

=>X=7y/8___1

While

  • Six fruit is removed from a and put it into b

=>X-6 /Y+6 = 1/3

=>3x-18=y+6

=>3x-y=24_____(2)

Now putting the value of X in Equation 2

=>3x-y=24

=>49y/8 -y=24

=>49y-8y=192

=>41y=192

=>y=192/41
