Hello,

Although usually only one or two nucleoli can be seen, a diploid human cell has ten nucleolus organizer regions (NORs) and could have more nucleoli. Most often multiple NORs participate in each nucleolus....

Answer:

The number of nucleolus is fixed in a cell because during a birth of baby or offspring it contains 44 chromosomes in which 22 are from father and 22 are from mother. Due to this it balanced of to 44 number of chromosomes. This chromosomes are present in neucleous.

Or

In a cell there is only one neucleous because it is a besic controller and transferer in a cell. It co- ordinate the functional and growth of the cell.
