the number of sheets of paper available for making notebooks is 96000. Each sheet makes 12 pages of a notebook. Each notebook contains 640 pages. How many notebooks can be made from the paper available?

Total number of pages that will be formed = 96000 ÷ 12 = 8000

So, the number of notebooks that will be made by these pages = 8000 ÷ 640 = 12 (approx.)

Thus, 12 notebooks can be made and 1 page will be left.

no of sheets=96000

no of pages can be made from 96000 sheets=96000*12

=1152000 pages

no of books made from 1152000 pages =1152000÷640

=1800 books
