Which solvent is used to separate mixture of sand and sulpher

sulphur is insoluble in water and send is also in soluble inverter so water can not be used as a solvent to separate this mixture. sulphur is, however soluble in carbon disulphide whereas sand is insoluble in carbon


therefor a mixture of Sulphur and sand can we separated by using carbon disulphide as solvent..
