p(x) = x²+4x+2

Now, by quadratic formula

We get, x = -4±√16-(4×1×2)/2

=> x = -4±√16-8/2

=> x = -4±√8/2

=> x = -4+2√2/2 or x = -4-2√2/2

=> x = √2-2 or x = -(√2+2)

Hence, there are two zeroes of the given equation.

Hope it helps you.
