Answer:

625 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter = 2( l+b)

l = 25m

100 = 2(25 + b)

2b = 100 -50

b = 25m

area = l*b

= 25 * 25

= 625 m^2

Hope this helps you :)

⟹ Given : -

» Perimeter of a rectangular sheet = 100 m

» Length of the rectangular sheet = 25 m

⟹ To Find : -

» Area of the rectangular sheet = ?

⟹ Formula Required : -

★ Perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( l + b ) units.

★ Area of the rectangle = lb sq. units

where , l › Length and b › Breadth

⟹ Solution : -

Here , we know the perimeter and length of the rectangle from which we can calculate breadth of the rectangle. With the known values of length and breath of the rectangle , we can calculate the area of the rectangular sheet.

First of all ,

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( l + b ) units.

↬ 2 ( 25 + b ) = 100

↬ 25 + b = 100 / 2

↬ 25 + b = 50

↬ b = 50 - 25

Breadth of the rectangular sheet = 25m

Area of Rectangle = lb sq. units.

↬ Area of rectangle = 25 × 25 = 625

⇝ Area of the rectangular sheet = 625 m².
