Here is ur answer mate:-

let the no. be 'x'

Now, it is said that when we add 'x' to thrice of (1/2) we, get 2.

So the following equation will be formed,

(1/2)³ + x = 2

  • by solving it we get the required no. i.e

(1/2)³+x=2

(1/8)+x=2

x=2×8

x=16

therefore, the number which when added to thrice of (1/2) gives 2 is 16

hope u got it!!

cuz, I am sure with my answer
