Hi friend,

Let the denominator of the fraction be X.

Then the Numerator of the fraction = X-11

Therefore,

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator = X-11/X

According to question,

X-11+X = 37

2X -11 = 37

2X = 37+11

2X = 48

X = 48/2

X = 24.

Therefore,

Numerator = X-7 = 24-7 = 17

Denominator= X = 24

Therefore,

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator = 17/24

Let numerator be x and denominator be y
x = y- 11
y= x+ 11
Also, x+y= 37
x+ x+11 = 37
2x = 26
x= 13
y= 24

Fraction is 13/24
