hey mate!!

here is your answer!!

numerator=x

denominator=x-2

new fraction

numerator =x-2-2=x-4

denominator=x+2

fraction=1/3

A.T.Q.

1/3=x-4/x+2

by cross multiplication

1(2+x)

x+2(1)=3(x-4)

x+2=3x+12

x-3x=12-2

2x=10

x=10/2

x=5

numerator=5-2=3

denomerator =5

fraction=3/5
