✔️✔️hey mate! here's your answer!✔️✔️

let x be the denominator.

so, numerator = x - 5

if,

numerator = x - 5 + 3 = x - 2

and, denominator = x + 3

according to the question,

 \frac{x - 2}{x + 3}  =  \frac{4}{5}

 =  > 5(x - 2) = 4(x + 3) \:  \: (by \: cross \: multiplication)

 =  > 5x - 10 = 4x + 12

 =  > 5x - 4x = 12 + 10

 =  > x = 22

therefore, numerator = x -5 = 22-5 = 17

and, denominator = 22

original fraction = \frac{17}{22}

hope it is helpful ✌️!
