Write 2difference between Renewable and Non-Renewable resources. Give an example of each.

(1) Renewable resources

• Resources which can be renewed naturally or by human efforts are known as renewable resources.

• These resources are inexhaustible.

• These resources do not cause pollution.

• Renewable resources are always available.

• Renewable resources are cheap.

• Example - land , water , air , etc.

(2) Non - renewable resources

• Resources which take a long period of time to be renewed are known as non - renewable resources.

• These are known as exhaustible resources.

• These resources cause pollution.

• Non - renewable resources are not always available.

• Non - renewable resources are expensive.

• Example - coal , petroleum , etc.

●Renewable resources are those resources that cannot be exhaust by human activities that's why they are called non exhaustible resources while non renewable resources can be exhausted by human activities that's why they are called exhaustible resources.

● non renewable resources are unlimited but renewable resources are limited.

● ex of renewable resources are wind energy and solar energy etc

● ex. Of non renewable are fossil fuels like petroleum .
