Step-by-step explanation:

Let the denominator be x

now , numerator = x - 6

denominator = x

now again , 3 is added to the fraction.

ATQ ,

(x + 6) / x = 2/3

= 3 ( x + 6 ) = 2 × x [ By cross-multiply]

= 3x + 18 = 2x

= 3x - 2x = - 18

= x = -18.

Now , original fraction is ,

N = x - 6 = -18 -6 = - 24

D = x = -18

fraction = N / D = - 24 / - 18 = 4 / 3 ____( answer)
