Answer:

15

Step-by-step explanation:

AS THEY HAVE SAID THAT NUMERATOR IS 3 LESS THAN DENOMINATOR WE THE FRACTION AS :

X-3/X

NOW THEY HAVE INCREASED TH DENOMINATOR BY 5 AND REDUCED THE NUMERATOR BY 2 SO THAT WHICH WILL BE EQUAL TO 1/2 SO WWE GET THE EQUATIO LIKE:

X-3-2/X+5 = 1/2

X-5/X+5 = 1/2

by cross multplication

2(X-5) = 1(X+5)

2X-10 = X + 5

2X-X = 5 +10

X=15
