Let the denominator be , x
A.T.Q.-
x+5/x+3=13/3
or,3x+x+5/x=13/3
or, 4x+5/x=13/3
or, 3(4x+5)=13x
or,12x+15=13x
or,15=13x-12x
Or,15=1x
or,x=15
Therefore, original no -
x+5/x
=15+5/15
=20/15
=4/3
