Let numerator be x

Then denominator=x+2(becauuse numerator is 2 less than it)

If 1 is added to both. Then

x+1/x+2+1=19/15

x+1/x+3=19/15

15(x+1)=19(x+3)

15x + 15=19x + 57

15x-19x=57-15. forget it i should have made in copy

The original fraction is 3/5

let the numerator be x then,
denominator will be x+2.

according to given condition we get
x/x+2 + x+1/x+2+1 = 19/15

solving this we get quadratic equation
11x²-5x-84=0

solving this we have
x=3

original fraction = x / x+2
= 3 / 3+2
= 3/5

Ans: 3/5
