let x be the denominator
numerator=x-3

orginal fraction= x-3/x

a/q

x-3+2/x+5=1/2
x-1/x+5=1/2
2x-2=x+5
x=7

the fraction= 7-3/7
=4/7

4+2/75=1/2
6/12+1/2
1/2=1/2
