the olden days people did not have electricity heaters to stay warm in winters hence they built fireplaces inside the rooms the fire places had chimnies . why do you thik chimneys wre rewired

chimneys were made so that the smoke did not let in the room and go outside the room if the smoke let in the room the persons will die due to suffocation
