1st one we will make first LCM same so it becomes

12x + x - y/6=2

12× + ×-y= 12

13x - y =12 ...............1

2nd one

let's make LCM same.

it becomes.

3x - 2x- y/3=1

3×-2×-y=3

x-y=3..........2

subtracting eq. 2 from 1

12x = 9

x=9/12=3/4

×=3/4

now x-y=3

3/4 - y =3

3-4y = 12

-4y = 9

y= -9/4
