Let tens digit=x
ones digit=x+2
the sum of digit is 4
according to question
x+x+2=4
2x=4-2
2x=2
x=2/2
x=1
tens digit=1
ones digit=1+2=3
number=13

One's digit = X
Ten's digit= Y

Y=2+X

X+Y=4
2+X+X=4
2+2X=4
2X=2
X=1

As we know...
Y=2+X
Y=2+1
Y=3

Hence the number is 13.

hope this helps!
cheers!! (:
