Answer:

45 litres of water

Step-by-step explanation:

alcohol and water = 2:1 = 45 litres

         alcohol = (2*45)/3 = 30 litres

         water = (1*45)/3    =  15 litres

30 litres of alcohol and 15 litres of water mixed in 2:1

x be the water added to form 1:2 , 30:(x+15) = 2:1

30/(x+15)=1/2

cross multiply

60=x+15

x=45
