outer radius=6cm
inner radius =4cm
volume of the metal contained in the shell =  \frac{4}{3} \pi (R^3-r^3)

                                                         where R=6cm
                                                                     r=4cm
volume of the shell= 64.5cm^3
outer surface area=4 \pi R^{2}
                             =452.3cm^2
