The total weight of the box is 25 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

Outer length = 1.25 m

Outer breadth = 0.80 m

Outer height = 0.55 m

Thickness of wood = 2.5 cm = 0.025 m

Inner length = 1.25 -(0.025+0.025)=1.2 m

Inner breadth = 0.80 -(0.025+0.025)= 0.75 m

Inner height = 0.55 -(0.025+0.025)= 0.5 m

Volume of wood = Outer volume - Inner volume

Volume of wood = ( 1.25 \times 0.8 \times 0.55)-(1.2 \times 0.75 \times 0.5)

Volume of wood =0.1 m^3

1 cubic m = 250 kg

0.1 cubic = 250 \times 0.1 =25 kg

Hence the total weight of the box is 25 kg
