The outer planets are made mostly of gas which makes them D. less dense than the solid inner planets. The inner and Outer planets a divided by the Asteroid belt. They are very big compared to the inner planets.

Also called by the name gas giants these planets have satellites which are the size bigger than the earth. Ganymede for Jupiter and titan for saturn our biggest of them all
