Answer:
Development:
Explanation:
Development takes place at a different pace in different parts of society.
The factors upon which the development of a society depends are as follows:
- For a society to steadily develop it needs a coastline, safe harbors with calm waters that lie on trade routes, and arable land.
- The geographical pattern of a region dominantly decides the pace of development in that particular region. For example: In a desert area, the pace of development will be very slow due to lack of resources.
- Climate is another factor which controls the development of a society. For example, A country which is continuously affected by the earthquake, tsunami or etc, their main concentration will be on recovering the region from disaster rather than in development.
- Culture and mindset are other factors which hold the pace of development in a region. This kind of population will require a lot of time for adaptation to the new type of developments that takes place in their region which will affect the development pace indirectly.
