given dimensions of a brick

l= 22.5cm b= 10cm h=7.5 cm

total surface area of bricks

=

2(l \times b + b \times h + h \times l) \\ 2(22.5 \times 10 + 10 \times 7.5 + 7.5 \times 22.5) \\ 2(225 + 75 + 168.75) \\ 2 \times 468.75 {cm}^{2}  = 937.5 {cm}^{2}  \\  =  \frac{937.5}{100 \times 100}  {m}^{2}  \:  \:  \:  \: (1m = 100cm) \\ number \: of \: bicks \: that \: painted \: out \: of \: this \: container \:  \\  =  \frac{total \: surface \: area \: of \: container}{total \: surface \: area \: of \: bricks \: }  \\  =  9.375 \div  \frac{937.5}{100 \times 100}  \\  =  \frac{9.375 \times 100 \times 100}{937.5}  \\  =  \frac{937500}{9375}  = 100.
