the paint in a certain container is sufficient to paint an area equal to 9.375m^2..how many bricks of dimension 22.5cm*10cm*7.5cm can be painted out of this container?

Given ,

  • Length - 22.5 cm
  • Breadth-10 cm
  • Height - 7.5 cm

Therfore , Surface area of a brick

                => 2[ Length x Breadth + Breadth x Height + Height x length]

                => 2[ 22.5 x 10 + 10 x 7.5 + 7.5 x 22.5 ]

                => 2[225 + 75 + 168.75]

                => 2[468.75]

                => 937.5cm^{2}

Change into metre square so 0.09375m^{2}

Therfore, Number of bricks that can be painted out :

Total area that can be painted = \frac{9.375}{0.09375}

                                                    => \boxed{100}
