subtraction both the equations

( 2x-5y+4=0 ) -(2x+y-8=0) , we get

-6y+12=0

-6y= -12

-y= -12/6

-y = -2

therefore, y = 2

and substituting any of the equation

2x-5(2)+4=0

2x-10+4=0

2x-6=0

x=3

so as thos equation has two solutions

so the correct option is a)
