Here we have combination of two parallel 10 ohm resistors
so now we will have current in each resistor given as
now each resistor is having 2.4 A current in it
So total current flowing through the battery is given as 2.4 + 2.4 = 4.8 A
now in order to find net resistance we can use ohm's law
so net resistance of both combination is 5 ohm

Here we have combination of two parallel 10 ohm resistors
so now we will have current in each resistor given as
i = \frac{V}{R}
i = \frac{24}{10} = 2.4 A
now each resistor is having 2.4 A current in it
So total current flowing through the battery is given as 2.4 + 2.4 = 4.8 A
now in order to find net resistance we can use ohm's law
V = i R
24 = R * 4.8
R = 5 ohm
so net resistance of both combination is 5 ohm
