The parallel side of a trapezium are 65 m and 40 m . Its non parallel side are 39 m and 56 m . Find the area of trapezium.

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × (sum of parallel sides) × h

Parallel sides are given = 65m nd 40m

We have to find its height.

So by pathagoras theorem we can find its height with the help of non-parallel sides

And put it in the given formula.
