Given :

⬤ Parallel Sides of Trapezium are 8 cm and 6 cm .

⬤ Area of Trapezium is 42 cm².

To Find :

⬤ Height of the Trapezium .

Formula Used :

\sf[\:{Area\:of\:Trapezium=\dfrac{1}{2}\times{(Sum\:of\:Parallel\:Sides)}\times{h}\:]}

Solution :

  • Parallel Sides = 8 cm and 6 cm .
  • Area = 42 cm²
  • Height = ?

According to the Formula :

42 = 1/2 × (Sum of Parallel Sides) × h

42 = 1/2 × (8 + 6) × h

42 = 1/2 × 14 × h

42 = 7h

42/7 = h

6 = h

Therefore , The Height of the Trapezium is 6 cm .
