The parallel sides of a trapezium are in the ratio 7:11 and the distance between them is 35cm. If the area of the trapezium is 1260 cm sw then find the length of the parallel sides​

area of trapezium = 1/2*sum of parallel sides * distance between them

1260cm^2 = 1/2* 7x + 11x * 35cm

1260cm^2 = 1/2 * 18x * 35

2520cm^2 = 18x * 35cm

2520cm^2 /35cm = 18x

72 cm = 18x

x = 4

length of trapezium = 7x = 7 * 4 = 28cm

11x = 11 * 4 = 44cm
