Let the two parallel sides be 2k and 5k.

Distance between them = Height of trapezium = 10 cm

Given area = 350 cm^2

Area of trapezium= (1/2) x height x (Sum of parallel sides)

or, 350 = (1/2) x 10 x (2k + 5k)

Solving for k, we get :

k =10

Thus, the parallel sides are 20 cm and 50 cm respectively.

Let the parallel sides of the given trapezium be 2x &5x.                                 Given,distance between the parallel sides=10cm.                                                      Area of the trapezium=350cm.                Since,area of trapezium=/2×sum of parallel sides × distance between them.                                                             350cm=1/2×2x +5x × 10cm.                          350 cm=1/2×7x ×10 cm.                                350 /5=7x.                                                 x=70/7=10cm.                                               Hence,the length if parallel sides of the given trapezium =2x=2×10cm=20cm &5x=5×10cm=50cm
