Constructing perpendicular line segments from the end points of the side 2x to the side 3x.

Area of the rectangle formed inside the trapezium = 4 × 2x

= 8x cm².

Area of the two triangles formed = 2 × (1/2) × 4 × (x/2)

= 2x cm².

Now, 8x + 2x = 60

x = 6 cm

Length of the Hypotenuse,

h² = (x/2)² + 4² = 3² + 4² = 25

h = 5 cm.

Perimeter of the trapezium is 5 + 5 + 2(6) + 3(6)

= 40 cm.

khushi3eg: And could you help me with a figure of this question
WonderGirl: (6/2)² can be written as (3)²
