Given :

⬤ Parllel Sides of Trapezium are 10 m and 20 m .

⬤ Distance between them is 8 m .

To Find :

⬤ Area of Trapezium .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Area \: of \: Trapezium = \dfrac{1}{2} \times{(Sum \: of \: Parallel \: Sides)} \times{h}}\:]

  • h = height

Solution :

According to the Formula :-

1/2 × (Sum of Parallel Sides) × h

1/2 × (10 + 20) × 8

1/2 × 30 × 8

1/2 × 240

120

Therefore , Area of Trapezium is 120 cm² .

Answer:

Formula :- Area of Trapezium = 1/2 ×(SumofParallelSides)

1/2 × (Sum of Parallel Sides) × height

= 1/2 × (10 + 20) × 8

= 1/2 × 30 × 8

= 1/2 × 240

= 120

Therefore , Area of Trapezium is 120 cm²
